When:   September 24,25,26 and most leaving the morning of the 27th  (but some arriving as early as Sunday the 20th)

Where:  Robbinsville NC  with the Phillips Hotel as the center of activity.

 PRO:
This is the central command post.. Rooms are "ok" and prices are "ok" but not the cheapest or nicest.. This is however the center of activates for the most part
CON:
can be a bit hectic with all the noise from activates. (could be a pro to some) Keep in mind this is an older hotel and is showing its age a bit.. No secure bike parking but no problems to date..

 PRO:
Clean, close to the Phillips and nice staff..  Newest buidings of all places.. nice, clean, great staff.. Prices about the same as the Phillips

CON:
A bit sterile (chain stuff you know) and no secure bike parking.  Parking lot is vulerable but as of this post, only thing to worry about is TP' jobs

Designed for the motorcycling crowd with a cycle garage adjacent to each room! Just 3 miles from Robbinsville and close to the Dragon and Cherohala. You won't need a cycle cover if you stay here. TELEPHONE 828-479-4248

 

 PRO:
Clean rooms, indoor bike parking at every room and great staff , newly remodeled, outdoor community area and fire pit. Best beds (at least for me)

CON:
parking for vehicles is lacking (trailer parking is cramped) but available, feels a bit like storage units.

Closest option to Phillips, food across street and next door, fairly secure bike parking (under your window) Decent Rates
CON:
was not the "cleanest" place and the shower in the unit I stayed was moldy..
